Yummy yummy in my tummy;

I love cooking and baking. I don't ever share any of my recipes and it's probably because it's all just basic things. My favorite food ever is cheese ravioli, but I buy frozen ravioli and canned sauce because I'm far too lazy to actually make it myself.
Everything I make is easy though (and effing delicious). I'm sure most people can enjoy an easy dinner, so here it goes, sharing my first recipe. (look at me acting like it's a big deal :p)

Skillet Lasagna;
1 lb ground sausage (I use Jimmy Dean)
16oz box/bag of Penne noodles, or any noodles you prefer but Penne is the easiest to work with.
1 Can or Jar tomato sauce (I use Hunt's traditional)
a dash of Italian seasoning
1 bag of finely shredded mozzarella cheese

Ignore the fact that the sauce and sausage isn't in this picture. You still need them :p

Step 1; Preheat oven to 400. Start boiling a big ol' pot of water, and add your noodles when it's boiling. I cook the noodles first because they take forever.

Step 2; Brown the sausage with a dash of Italian seasoning. Also, start heating up your sauce

Step 3; When everything is all nice and cooked, drain your pasta and place it back in the pot. Then, drain your sausage.

Step 4; Start layering your ingredients; Pasta, sauce, cheese, sausage, sauce, cheese, repeat. Make sure you're layering in an oven safe dish.

Step 5; Place the finished layered product into 400 degree oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese is all nicely melted.

Happy eating!

xoxo, Raven
