Make it work!

Everyone loves Tim Gunn! I'm trying to make his words true with this little blog! I didn't realize how hard it can be to actually sit down EVERYDAY and write a blog entry. It's much more difficult then one would think. That being said, I applaud all of you bloggers out there who are doing this EVERYDAY, and never ever ever missing a day of posting. bravo.


Well, today I actually got to do a day of shopping with my best friend, Taylor. It was SO nice to finally get out of this itty bitty town and go to a real city where there are real stores. Don't get me wrong, I love my antique stores, but a girl needs Target in her life more than once a month.
I got three adorable dresses and a cute little alien hat that Tay and I decided we couldn't live without. I probably should have bought a few cardigans, but I'm kind of a cheapskate when it comes to....everything.

My Manfriend

So today I decided to introduce you to someone very special to me;

This is Cam, he's a little silly. Cam and I have been dating since April 20th of 2006. I was in 8th grade & he was a sophomore in high school. He has a huge ego and an even bigger heart. I'm not sure where I would be in my life if it wasn't for him. I love him, a lot. :)

Nice to meet you!

Hello blogging world! I'm Raven and it is a pleasure to finally meet. I decided to start this blog because I need some sort of hobby. I live in a tiny little town in Indiana. It has so much charm, but not much to do. It's population is 75% older folks, so everything closes at 6pm. The only things open past 6 are the good ol' Hometown proud IGA (an itty bitty 24 hr grocery store), Dollar General, and all 3 gas stations. Why we have 3 gas stations in this town is beyond me. The best thing about my little town are the antique shops. I'm an antique junkie. I love just about anything vintage, worn out, and beautiful.

I'm a proud momma to two wonderful kitties.
This is Lucy;
She's a big girl, weighing in at 19lbs. She loves to cuddle, and it's ridiculously hard to get a good picture of her actually looking at the camera. She's about 6 years old, my mom adopted her when I was a freshman in high school. She's been there to cuddle with me when I was going through the woes of high school. I love her dearly.

This is Jack;
It's even harder to get a picture of him, looking at the camera or not. He's a little neurotic and he's constantly moving. He's one of the strangest cats I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He loves water, his meow sounds like a bark, and he loves to be held in front of an air conditioner blowing on full blast. He's also the sweetest kitty ever.

I also have an adorably feisty hamster, Dexter, but I don't have any pictures of him that aren't on my phone (which I lost the USB for).

Eeek! I didn't realize what time it was! I have to be at work in 5 mins! thankfully work is 2 mins away!
